Our Mission
Our mission is to significantly increase the wealth of our investors, measured by the compound annual growth rate (CAGR), over a long period of time. We also want to build a trusting, long-term relationship with all our partners. Only then can we be successful together - through good times and bad.
We are the initiator and investment adviser of the P&R REAL VALUE fund.
Rigorous selection
We invest concentrated in a select few companies – usually between 10 and 20, only after very intensive research and sometimes only after several years of building trust with the company's management team.
Young elephants
We always compare price with value. Within the spectrum of value investing we prefer investing in great businesses, that can grow for a long time. We call these candidates young elephants.
Equanimity
Just as we see ourselves as long-term partners in the businesses we own, investors should see themselves as long-term partners in our fund. If you know the true long-term value of a business, you don't need to lose sleep over stock market gyrations.

Matthias Riechert
Decision Maker
Matthias spent more than
12 years in sales & trading (Citigroup) where he learned everything that doesn’t work in investing. He did an Executive MBA at London Business School and Columbia Business School where he specialised in value investing. After that he co-founded the P&R Real Value fund in late 2012. Matthias lives and works in London.
Aakash Vanchi Nath
Co-Pilot
Aakash was a senior trader at Bridgewater Associates. He moved to London for an MBA from London Business School. He fell in love with value investing after pursuing a value investing course and Matthias’s mentorship. He joined P&R in 2019. He also has a Masters from Columbia University and a CFA level
III certification.
Christian Schulz
Scale Manager
Christian has a passion for customer service. He spent
18 years at UniCredit (Munich/London) in the Wealth Management, Equities and Capital Markets divisions. At P&R, he is now creating a stable foundation for further growth and building new customer relationships.
Susanne Feistel
Assistant
Susanne has been a valuable assistant at P&R since the very beginning in 2012. She takes care of the many small but important things. In particular, she is the first point of contact for our investors. Prior to that, she worked for Morgan Stanley as a team leader in Operations. Susanne completed her Master’s degree at the Goethe-University Frankfurt.
